2. Description of the Service

easeout is a cloud-based leave and absence management platform designed for organizations using Microsoft 365.

The service enables organizations to manage employee leave requests, approvals, leave balances, absence calendars, team structures, and reporting. It may also synchronize leave events with Microsoft Outlook calendars and integrate with Microsoft Teams.

3. Account Registration

Accounts are created and managed by an organization administrator.

Users typically authenticate using Microsoft 365 accounts through Microsoft Entra ID.

The organization is responsible for managing user access and ensuring that only authorized individuals use the service.

4. Microsoft Integration

easeout integrates with Microsoft services via official APIs. This may include access to:

  • Microsoft 365 identity information
  • Microsoft Teams environment
  • Outlook calendar data for leave synchronization

easeout is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Microsoft.

5. Subscription and Billing

easeout is provided as a per‑user subscription service. Billing may occur monthly or annually. Subscription fees are based on the number of active users.

Mid-cycle user additions:

If users are added during a billing cycle, they may be charged immediately on a prorated basis for the remainder of the billing period.

Payments may be processed via third‑party providers such as Stripe.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • use easeout only for lawful business purposes
  • maintain the confidentiality of their accounts
  • ensure employees use the service appropriately
  • comply with applicable data protection and employment laws

7. Customer Decisions and Internal Policies

easeout provides tools to assist organizations in managing leave and absence processes.

Customers remain solely responsible for:

  • defining internal leave policies
  • reviewing and approving leave requests
  • ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • verifying employee data and leave balances

easeout does not make employment decisions and is not responsible for HR decisions, leave approvals, or policy enforcement by customer organizations.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

Users may not:

  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • interfere with or disrupt the service
  • reverse engineer the software
  • upload illegal or malicious content
  • misuse Microsoft integrations
  • attempt to access data belonging to other organizations

Violations may result in suspension or termination of access.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, technology, and intellectual property related to easeout remain the property of Mycomp.

Customers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during their subscription.

10. Data and Privacy

Customers retain ownership of their organizational data.

Mycomp processes this data only to provide the service.

Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

11. Service Availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis.

Maintenance, updates, or external factors may occasionally interrupt availability.

12. Service Modifications

Mycomp may update or modify the service, including adding or removing features, provided such changes do not materially reduce the core functionality of the platform.

13. Security Suspension

Mycomp may temporarily suspend access to the service if reasonably necessary to protect the security, integrity, or operation of the platform.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mycomp shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruptions.

Total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the customer during the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Termination

Customers may terminate their subscription at any time.

Upon termination:

  • access to the service will end
  • data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy

Customers may request export of their data during the retention period before deletion.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
